To discover new materials for energy harvesting in/for clean and green environment. To discover the mechanism of properties of materials in the nanoscale.
Impact Statement & Explanation of Research:
To understand and make other understand, the progress of life span, through nanotechnology that started from basic science. (e.g. making smart materials for fabrication devices for day to day life).
Current Projects:
- Synthesis of BxCyNz sheet/particles/tubes for thermoelectric applications.
- Synthesis of CaxCoyOz nano particles/petals for thermoelectric applications.
- Understanding some of the fundamental mechanism during Carbon Nanotube growth.
- Understanding the SiC/Graphene interface
