Research ยป Spin Logic

Spin logic has been proposed as a possible route for more-than-Moore solutions. Compared with conventional charge-based CMOS logic, spin logic utilizes another property of electrons - "the spin" - as the state variable, which offers several advantages such as low-power operation, non-volatility, combining digital and analog applications, etc. Our group works on the experimental realization of spin logic, including manipulation and characterization of nanomagnets, spin coupling, spin transport, etc. Moreover, our group also explores a newly-proposed concept: Probabilistic Spin-Logic (PSL).
