Program Description

The Purdue Campus LSAMP Program, a unit within the Division of Diversity and Inclusion – Office of the Provost, over-arching goal is to broaden the capacity of undergraduate students, especially from disadvantaged or underrepresented groups who:

  • Graduate with degrees in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)
  • Enter graduate programs in STEM disciplines
  • Enter the workforce in STEM careers

Campus Programming includes but is not limited to: 

  • academic research and enrichment
  • summer transitional program, a 2nd year living learning community
  • mentoring program
  • GRE workshops
  • STEM professional development
  • STEM K-12 service learning projects
  • community college outreach
  • faculty workshops

Eligibility

Undergraduates student who:

  • have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • are majoring in Science, Technology, Engineering, Science, or Agriculture
  • are citizens, nationals, or permanent U.S. residents
