Discovery Park Undergraduate Research Internship Program

The Discovery Park Undergraduate Research Internship (DURI) program is designed to involve Purdue undergraduates in the interdisciplinary research environment of Discovery Park. The program provides opportunities for students to work with faculty affiliated with Discovery Park on cutting edge research projects that involve combining two or more disciplinary strengths (such as Nanoscience and Bioscience or perhaps Information Technology, Business, and Communications).

Interns for Indiana

The Purdue Interns for Indiana program, partially funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc., is an innovative approach to keeping Indiana's college graduates in Indiana. By matching high-quality student interns with Indiana startup companies, Purdue aims to accelerate company growth while providing students with valuable educational experiences.

Cancer Prevention Internship Program

The Cancer Prevention Internship Program (CPIP) for Undergraduate Students is a twelve-month internship program based on the DURI model and engages undergraduates in cutting edge research combining two or more disciplinary strengths in cancer prevention research.

Sally Mason Undergraduate Scholarship

The Sally Mason Undergraduate Scholarship supports undergraduate students who have been selected to present research findings at a national or international conference in the dissemination of their research and improvement of their communication skills through the participation in scholarly activity. This scholarship is named for former Provost Sally Frost Mason, who was instrumental in the creation of the Discovery Learning Research Center.

Margo Katherine Wilke Undergraduate Research Internship (Wilke)

The Margo Katherine Wilke Undergraduate Research Internship (Wilke) program is designed to involve Purdue College of Liberal Arts undergraduates in the interdisciplinary and exciting research environment of the College of Liberal Arts. The program provides opportunities for students to work with faculty in the College of Liberal Arts on cutting edge research projects in the arts, humanities, and social sciences.

Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Indiana

LSAMP Indiana is implementing programs that will: provide early research and enrichment experiences; sustain teaching and mentoring opportunities on gatekeeper, as well as upper-level courses; provide personalized interactions with graduate students and faculty mentors beginning in the students' first year; and provide professional and personal development opportunities.

Institute for Accessible Science (IAS) Student Programs

The Institute for Accessible Science (IAS) was established at Purdue University through an NIH Director’s Pathfinder Award in 2010 with a mission to promote the inclusion and retention of persons with disabilities (PWDs) in biomedical science careers through practical laboratory experiences, assistive technology (AT) development, student and educator support services and research. We are pleased to announce two new programs to promote this mission.
