October 11-12, 2007, workshop Serious Games Research Forum in the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship. Featured speaker Dr. James Gee, Mary Lou Fulton Presidential Professor of Literacy Studies, Arizona State University presented Engaging Learners through Gaming and What Video Games Have to Teach Us About Learning and Literacy.

September 25-26, 2007, exhibit by Popular Science, The Dorm Room of the Future at the Memorial Mall.

August 29, 2007, presentation by Dr. Butch Rosser, Chris Okamoto, and Dave Denz, Illumen Studios, Experiential Learning in the Burton D. Morgan Center for Entrepreneurship.

April 16, 2007, seminar by Marc Prensky, Education and Learning in the 21st Century: Engaging Today's Digital Learner in the Fowler Lecture Hall, Stewart Center. Cosponsored with ITaP, CRESME, the Envision Center, College of Education, Purdue Research Foundation, and College of Science.

April 5, 2007, workshop, Serious Games Forum in the BDM Center for Entrepreneurship and the Envision Center. Speakers were Douglas Whatley, Rudolph Darken, Andrea Lauer Rice and Howard Phillips. Cosponsored with the Envision Center, Colleges of Education and Science, Continuing Education & Conferences, CRESME, ITaP and Purdue Research Foundation.

March 26, 2007, seminar by Dr. Christine Cunningham, Vice President of Research, Museum of Science, Boston, Engineering for Elementary Children in the Prusiecki Banquet Room, Dauch Alumni Center. Cosponsored with the Department of Engineering Education.

March 2, 2007, competition, Games-to-Teach Competition. A $150,000 prize to develop an on-line gaming-based course for Purdue credit. Cosponsored with Continuing Education and Conferences, Purdue Research Foundation, Office of Information Technology, College of Engineering, College of Education, and College of Science.
