Date: Tuesday, March 20, 2012 Time: 12-1:30 p.m. Place: DLR 221
The Critical Thinking Assessment Test assesses a broad range of skills that are important components of critical thinking and problem-solving. The test questions are derived from real world situations. Most of the questions require short essay responses. The CAT instrument can be a model for developing authentic assessments and learning activities in individual disciplines. The National Science Foundation provided partial support for the development of CAT. www.CriticalThinkingTest.org
