I²D Lab

Purdue Global Engineering’s Innovation for International Development (I2D) Lab fosters new technologies that support sustainable development. Since engineering is vital in food production, storage, and processing systems, the collaboration strengthens Purdue’s research capabilities in food security. The I2D Lab utilizes market-based approaches, diverse collaboration, and scalability. The Purdue Center for Global Food Security has joined with the I2D Lab to fund selected seed grants, the Mandela Washington Fellows program and other initiatives.
