Bioinformatics Core at Purdue University presents
Friday, November 8, 2013; 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM; NLSN 1195
This workshop will provide a workflow for large scale phylogenomic analyse. We will provide a logical workflow, starting from downloading the whole genomes, identifying the orthologs, multiple sequence alignments, trimming and merging alignments, and constructing Maximum Likelihood Bayesian phylogenetic tree.
Familiarity with UNIX and with the theory and concepts of phylogenetics are required to participate in the workshop.
More details can be found in the attached flyer.
