Awards
Financial awards and in-kind services comprise the awards to be given to Competition finalists.
The financial awards are as follows:
- First Place/Grand Prize: $30,000
- Second Place: $20,000
- Third Place: $10,000
- Fourth Place: $5,000
- Finalist (Fifth Place to Eighth Place): $2,500
The top Indiana company finalist will receive a $10,000 award from Biocrossroads.
In-kind services are as follows:
- The preclinical contract research lab Apredica is awarding in-kind ADME-Tox testing services up to $10,000 for the top small-molecule drug-discovery finalist.
- The law firm Baker and Daniels is awarding in-kind legal services of $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 to the top three finalists, respectively.
- The accounting firm Ernst and Young is awarding in-kind consulting services of $5,000, $3,000, and $2,000 to the top three finalists, respectively.
- Purdue Research Park will offer business incubator space to the first place finisher.
- Seyet LLC (www.seyet.com) is awarding in-kind 3-D computer graphics visualization services to the top three finalists.
