A quote from a member of the winning company in the Life Science Competition on November 10, 2009:
"I believe that the quality of a business plan competition is seen through the quality and technological expertise of the judging panel," said a representative of the winning company, Novophage Therapeutics. "With that regards, the Purdue Life Science competition is very unique because it focus(es) sic entirely on life science companies. Thus, the judging panel was extremely knowledgeable and combined both technological expertise and investing experience....I really feel that Purdue's life science focus is the strength and differentiating factor over other business plan competitions in the country."
