Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Event Sponsorship Opportunities

The Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Program offers a number of sponsorship opportunities to individuals, businesses and organizations. Help inspire tomorrow’s business leaders and get involved in Purdue University’s robust entrepreneurial community! The following sponsorship opportunities are available.

  • Evening at Purdue Research Park

As part of our spring semester Entrepreneurship Capstone class, Purdue students and the public are invited to hear speakers and partake in a reception and networking event designed to generate awareness of the resources Purdue Technology Centers offer to entrepreneurs throughout the state. This event provides sponsors with excellent exposure among students and entrepreneurial companies affiliated with Purdue.

Approximately 30 individuals or teams of Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Innovation students, graduate students, and practicing entrepreneurs from the Purdue Research Park will pitch their business venture ideas to a panel of judges in two minutes or less. Cash prizes are awarded in two categories (undergraduate and other) and t-shirts are given to all participants. This afternoon of fun provides sponsors with excellent press and exposure both on and off-campus.

  • Purdue Capstone Innovation Award

A new prize is in the works that will be awarded to the team of students who create the most innovative and intriguing products developed as part of senior-level capstone design-type courses. This prize will be a joint venture between the Entrepreneurship Program and College of Engineering and will provide excellent exposure among students and faculty across the university. With proper financial support, it could be expanded to other colleges such as Science and Technology.
