Great Lakes Water Quality Conference - Click on link to view presentations
On October 23, 2008 faculty from Purdue's West Lafayette and Calumet campuses participated in a day-long event at Purdue Calumet to strengthen multi-campus collaboration. The Water Institute at Purdue University-Calumet in collaboration with the Center for the Environment and Energy Center organized a Great Lakes Water Quality Conference. The event marks a significant effort to further faculty research in water issues in the Great Lakes region.
Dr. Ashok Gadgil, senior staff scientist and deputy director of thae Environmental Energy Technologies Division at the Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory, delivered the keynote address titled, "Global Water Solutions through Technology." The workshop included presentations as well as a brainstorming session.
