$5.2 Million to Advance Heating and Cooling Systems and Other Building Efficiency Technologies

As part of the Obama Administration's blueprint for an American economy built to last, Energy Secretary Steven Chu today announced the availability of up to $5.2 million in fiscal year 2012 to develop improved building efficiency technologies, including advanced heating and cooling systems and high efficiency insulation, windows and roofs. This funding will advance the research, development, demonstration, and manufacture of innovative building technologies to speed the commercialization of affordable, high performance products that will save money for American families and businesses.
