Energy Systems/Policy Brown Bag Lunch Seminar Series
April 26 @ 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM - Potter Building, Fu Room, # 234
The Energy Center will be hosting a bi-weekly seminar series on energy systems/policy. This brown bag lunch seminar series is for the Spring of 2012 occurring the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month in the Potter Building, Fu Room # 234 from 11:30-1:00 pm.
Join us for this week’s lecture by Daniel Schuster.
Dan will give a presentation of Purdue’s Comprehensive Energy Master Plan (CEMP) which looks at production, distribution, and demand of Purdue’s WL campus. CEMP included analysis of operational processes to help us maximize our efficiencies and to be able to better control and deliver our costs more consistently. Additionally, Dan will also discuss renewable energy integration and costs into our campus. Following will be an open discussion and an idea exchange on things Purdue can do moving forward to incorporate faculty, staff, and students to reduce energy use on campus. Are there opportunities for research? Business plan? Incentives? Disincentives?
Please come, listen and join in the discussion at this brown bag lunch series. You are welcome to bring along anyone who may enjoy these fascinating topics.
We hope to see you Thursday!
