The Energy Academy at Purdue
"...inspiring future leaders in energy".
June16-22, 2013.
Sponsorship
We need your support to inspire high school students to pursue a higher education in energy and for high school science teachers to develop timely and insightful curricula for their STEM classes. The Energy Academy at Purdue's program has been structured to provide sponsors with an opportunity to introduce students and teachers to the work of their company, agency, or utility, and to discuss the social, environmental, economic and regulatory hurdles each faces when trying to develop or introduce a new source of energy, build new generation, or deliver energy efficiently and cost effectively. Industry, government, and utility sponsors will also have an opportunity to share their vision of the future and explain how their efforts today will impact, when, where, and how we use energy in the future. Purdue University believes that your sponsorship will stimulate students’ and teachers' interest through this unique opportunity.
The Energy Academy at Purdue is free for all participants. This feat is achievable through donations from our generous sponsors. Your contribution will cover the following expenses: housing, meals, transportation, instruction, stipends for teachers, tours, and extracurricular activities.
