Biography

Don D. Jones is a Professor and Extension Agricultural Engineer in Agricultural and Biological Engineering at Purdue University. He received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Illinois and his Ph.D. from Purdue University. Don joined the faculty at Purdue in 1976. His current extension and research interests include residential onsite wastewater systems, livestock housing and manure management, as well as computer applications (spreadsheets, multimedia) in agriculture, especially as applied to environmental education and to agricultural production systems. See Purdue Pork Page. He has also helped develop expert systems in agricultural and been involved in a number of projects dealing with residential and animal waste treatment and management.
