Biography
My lab has two primary foci: 1) rice as a model for other grass crops, including potential biofuel crops; and 2) soybean genetics. Our approaches are to develop tools/infrastructure that accelerate genetic manipulation or exploitation of these important groups of plants. Some of these approaches are comparative in that we compare genomes in order to better understand the biology of one.
