Welcome to the State Utility Forecasting Group (SUFG) website. SUFG has been assisting the State of Indiana for over 25 years through its forecasts of electricity consumption, prices, and resource requirements. SUFG also performs analyses of a number of issues facing the energy industries. This report represents the tenth annual study of renewable resources in Indiana performed by the State Utility Forecasting Group. It was prepared to fulfill SUFG’s obligation under Indiana Code 8-1-8.8 (added in 2002) to “conduct an annual study on the use, availability, and economics of using renewable energy resources in Indiana.”

This report contains a central database of energy efficiency throughout the state of Indiana. The purpose of the database is to collect and quantify energy efficiency efforts in the state.
