SUFG has been assisting the State of Indiana for over 25 years through its forecasts of electricity consumption, prices, and resource requirements. SUFG also performs analyses of a number of issues facing the energy industries. This report represents the thirteenth set of statewide electricity projections produced by SUFG. These projections include forecasts of electricity usage, prices, and resource needs for a 20-year period.

This report represents the ninth annual study of renewable resources in Indiana performed by the State Utility Forecasting Group. It was prepared to fulfill SUFG’s obligation under Indiana Code 8-1-8.8 (added in 2002) to “conduct an annual study on the use, availability, and economics of using renewable energy resources in Indiana.”
