Profile:

Dr. Timothée L. Pourpoint is currently a Senior Research Scientist for of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Purdue University. As he was completing his PhD requirements, he led the development of the Integrated Gas Turbine Combustion Facility at the Maurice Zucrow High Pressure Laboratory. He is currently supervising two research projects focused on the development of a high pressure metal hydride system capable of satisfying a set of requirements compatible with automotive applications. Over the last five years, he has been involved with the design, operation, and upgrade of several high pressure systems used in the aerospace and automotive industries.
