Zhongguancun Forum is a high-level international forum of innovation providing a platform for high-end dialogues on innovation driven economy, technology trends, and development. It is sponsored by Ministry of Science and Technology of China, Beijing Municipal Government and organized by Zhongguancun Science Park (Z-Park). The theme of the 2014 annual meeting is “Ecosystem of Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Cooperation, Share and Win-win”.

Mr. Kevin Ellett, a visiting scholar of the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences at Purdue and also a research scientist at Indiana Geological Survey, was invited to attend the forum. During the afternoon Parallel Sub-forum: International Eco-Environment and Energy Technology Transfer, Mr. Ellett, on behalf of Purdue USCEES, met with guest speakers and representatives from companies around the world and local science and technology parks and shared his thoughts and visions about the highligted technologies and binational cooperation opportunities and challenges.
