Seed Grant Program

The PCCRC seed grant program is designed to encourage and fund cross-college collaborations that lead to the submission of interdisciplinary proposals to external agencies. The grants are not meant to fund complete projects, but to provide a modest amount of support to start new research and/or education efforts. Awardees are expected to submit a proposal to an external funding agency through the PCCRC within one academic year following the award.

Anyone certified by the Office of the Vice President for Research to serve as a Principal Investigator to an outside agency may submit a proposal. The proposed team may include investigators from outside of Purdue. Project PIs and all Purdue co-PIs must be members of the PCCRC.

The Center typically releases two calls for proposals annually.  If you are interested in receiving notification of upcoming calls, send an email to pccrc@purdue.edu.
