Analytical Chemistry and Engineering
Analytical chemistry, as the component of chemistry most closely related to engineering, most involved in the development of new instrumentation and new technology, and most concerned with the practical applications of chemistry, has seen increased interest with the emergence of the mega-interdisciplinary areas of nanotechnology and systems biology. This nexus is the point of emphasis of instrumentation development projects of CAID.
