Activities in the facility are undertaken in the ‘collaborative core’ model. Project descriptions that include cost estimates are generated in cooperation between the facility and investigator “customers”. Projects are tightly managed to track costs and meet agreed upon performance milestones. Since success depends on frequent communication between the facility staff and investigator partners, this is built in to the project approach.  For more information,
