ANALYTICAL PROTEOMIC TEAM

Recognized experts in mass spectrometry and proteomics technologies combine with a unique clinical sample collection team and expert researchers in breast and prostate cancer in this Cancer Proteomic Technology Assessment Consortium, “Analytical Proteomics Team” (APT). The team includes experienced bio-statisticians and informaticians to ensure seamless availability and sharing of data, compliance with the cancer bioinformatics grid guidelines, and robust computational processes for acquisition, storage, management and analysis of complex proteomic datasets. In addition to sample collection and handling, several MS-based proteomics platforms will be validated including innovative highly sensitive and soon to be commercialized ion mobility mass spectrometry technology and a targeted immunoaffinity MS-based approach for proteomic validation of selected candidate biomarkers. A new label-free antibody array platform will also be validated that enables simultaneous assay of hundreds of protein analytes in the context of rigorous on-board control capacity. READ MORE >>>
