Network Luncheon: Things My Polish Mother Told Me and Other Interesting Facts and Myths

Relax and explore some commonly held beliefs that have been passed from generation to generation: Don't swallow your gum. Wear your hat. Too much sugar makes kids hyper. Cold weather makes you sick. Ar poinsettias really poisonous? HOw much heat do you lose from your head when you don't wear a hat? Using these and other commonly held beliefs, Mary Sadowski, Ph.D Dean, Purdue Extended Campus will try to distinguish between fact and fiction. The event will take place Wednesday, December 12 2012 at YWCA 11:30am to 1:00pm. Mary Sadowski, Ph.D Dean, Purdue Extended Campus will be the speaker for the lucheon.
