Student Exchange Program with India--Call for Applications
The BNC has recently established a new graduate student and postdoc exchange program with the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) and GE Global Research's John F. Welch India Technology Centre in Bangalore, India.

We are now seeking
applications from researchers interested in 8-20 week experiences at
JNCASR during the Spring 2010 semester. Applications will be reviewed
as they are received, but to ensure full consideration for the
upcoming round of exchanges, applicants are encouraged to submit all
materials by 30 November, 2009. Also, the program includes internship
opportunties at GE, with particular interests in the areas of
photovoltaics and biofuels. The timing of these internships is
flexible, but they would likely begin in late spring or summer of next
