e-Enterprise Project Support
The e-Enterprise Center provides small and large projects with administrative and project management support for the initial six to twelve months after inception. After this time period, management is transitioned to the principal investigators and staff of the project.
e-Enterprise staff provide review of project requirements and creation of a project management plan including task plans and assignments, schedules of milestones and deliverables, and definitions of procedures specified by the funding agencies. During the project startup period, e-Enterprise staff assumes a coordination role for administration of the project by coordinating the submittal of deliverables and monitoring task and milestone progress.
The Gerald D. and Edna E. Mann Hall e-Enterprise Center Building, to be finished in 2007, in Discovery Park has significant provisions for faculty and visiting scholars included in the design. The e-Enterprise Center will provide office space for both Purdue faculty and visiting scholars from industrial partners and other academic institutions collaborating on e-Enterprise projects. Along with offices, provisions include access to Purdue computing networks, telephone, and clerical support.
