Private Outside Scholarship Reporting

Each year many Purdue students are awarded scholarships by private (outside) sources such as high schools, civic organizations, charitable foundations, businesses, etc. All awards from sources outside Purdue must be reported to the Division of Financial Aid to ensure your financial aid is awarded accurately.

You may download the printable Private Outside Scholarship Reporting Form, complete the form, and fax it to: (765) 494-6707.

Please give this address to your donor. If you receive a check directly from the donor, please endorse it and mail it to the above address.

For your information, all awards greater than $600 are divided evenly and one-half applied to each semester (fall and spring) unless noted otherwise by the donor. Your financial aid package may be adjusted if you receive scholarships/grants from outside/private donors. Such items as the Federal Perkins Loan, Federal Work-Study, Federal Stafford Loan, and Federal Parent PLUS Loan may be reduced. A revised eligibility notice will be sent noting any financial aid eligibility changes.
