Purdue Weekend MBA Program
The Purdue University Division of Financial Aid can assist you in obtaining student loan funding. If you are degree seeking and meet financial aid citizenship requirements, you may be eligible for the Stafford and/or Graduate PLUS Loan programs. International students with a U.S. citizen cosigner may be eligible for alternative loan options.
To be considered for the Stafford and/or Graduate PLUS Loan programs, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Applications for 2012-13 and 2013-14 both need to be completed. Visit our How to Apply page for more information on how to apply. Our school code is 001825. Be sure to complete your FAFSA each year until you graduate.
If this is the first time that you are borrowing through the Federal Direct Student Loan Program, you will also need to sign a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and complete loan counseling for each loan you accepted online through your myPurdue account. These requirements may be completed by signing into www.studentloans.gov.
Financial assistance may also be available through private/alternative loan programs. A cosigner is required only if you have no credit, have an insufficient credit history, or are an international student. You can obtain more information about alternative loans at http://www.purdue.edu/dfa/loans/altloans.php.
Loan disbursements occur for each semester of enrollment. Lenders send loan funds to Purdue University to be applied to any unpaid fees. Remaining funds will be disbursed, or refunded, to you.
You can borrow up to Purdue’s estimated cost of education, which includes allowances for fees and travel. Maximum loan amounts per module are as follows:
Graduate PLUS Loan: Cost of education minus other aid
Alternative Loan: Cost of education minus other aid
The estimated cost of education for 2013-14:
