Purdue Weekend MBA Program
Welcome to Purdue!
The Purdue University Division of Financial Aid can assist you in obtaining student loan funding. If you are degree seeking and meet financial aid citizenship requirements, you may be eligible for the Stafford and/or Graduate PLUS loan programs. International students with a U.S. citizen cosigner may be eligible for alternative loan options.
To be considered for the Stafford and/or Graduate PLUS loan programs, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/. Visit www.purdue.edu/dfa/all/applying.htm for more information on how to apply. Since the Krannert Weekend Masters Program starts midyear; you will need to complete two FAFSAS (2009-10 for Spring 2010 & 2010-11 for the upcoming academic year. Financial assistance may also be available private/alternative loan programs. A cosigner may be required if you have no credit, have an insufficient credit history, or are an international student. You can obtain more information about alternative loans at www.purdue.edu/dfa/loans/altloans.php.
Separate loan disbursements are made for each semester of enrollment. Lenders usually disburse loan proceeds to Purdue University who will apply them to any unpaid fees, and disburse the remaining funds to you.
You can borrow up to Purdue’s estimated cost of education, which includes allowances for fees and travel. Maximum loan amounts per module are as follows:
Graduate Plus Loan: Cost of education minus other aid
Alternative Loan: Cost of education minus other aid
The estimated cost of education beginning in Spring 2009 is:
| Tuition and Fees : | $7,250 | |
| Room and Board : | $435 | |
| Books : | $610 | Determined by Krannert |

| $1,560 | KY, IL, IA, MI, MO, OH, TN, WI, WV residents | |
