Summer Cost of Attendance

Listed here are standard cost estimates to attend Purdue West Lafayette for summer 2013, which is part of the 2012-13 academic year. Additions to budgets are made for students with other costs such as child care. More information on programs that charge special fees is maintained on the Bursar website.

The tuition and fee amounts are based on Fee Level 5 and assume enrollment in 6-9 credit hours for the specified enrollment period. The amounts reported as "Other Expenses" in the tables below include allotments for room and board, books and supplies, transportation, and miscellaneous/personal expenses.

Start and end dates for each module are as follows and should be used to estimate summer costs:

Module 1: May 13 - June 7

Module 2: June 10 - July 5

Module 3: July 8 - August 2

    * Some undergraduate programs have additional fees associated with summer enrollment. A flat rate for 6-9 hours of enrollment over the summer will be assessed for Technology ($143), Engineering ($388), and Management ($359). The number of modules enrolled does not change these amounts. 


    The Bursar's Office website contains per credit hourtuition and fee amounts if enrollment will be less than 6 credit hours for summer. Enrollment over 9 credit hours will be charged the flat rate listed above for the corresponding enrollment period, plus the per credit hour rate for the hours above 9.
