2012-13 Cost of Attendance Estimates for Undergraduate Students

The Division of Financial Aid calculates an estimated cost of attendance for student financial aid applicants based on federal student aid guidance. The Division of Financial Aid surveys a sample of students every 2-3 years to help estimate costs accurately. For more detail about how the Division of Financial Aid estimates cost of attendance visit www.purdue.edu/dfa/all/costofattendance.php.

To calculate an undergraduate net price of attendance estimate (costs less grant and scholarship aid) at Purdue University-West Lafayette visit our Financial Aid Estimator.

Note that a different cost of attendance is estimated for graduate students and commuter students who live at home and commute to campus. In addition, separate cost of attendance estimates are maintained for students in programs that have different cost estimates such as Technology Statewide, Pharm-D, and Veterinary Medicine.

Listed here are standard undergraduate cost of attendance estimates for the 2012-13 academic year. Additions to budgets are made for students in programs with differential fees, or other costs such as child care or travel from residence outside of the Midwest. More information on programs that charge special fees is maintained on the Bursar website.
