VISION
As an essential component of Purdue University's educational mission, the Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) will provide preeminent career development support and job search services to students and graduates.
MISSION
The Center for Career Opportunities engages Purdue University students and alumni in exploring career options and developing effective job search skills. The CCO facilitates activities that connect students and alumni with employers and develops partnerships with Purdue colleges, schools, and other stakeholders to deliver career services.
CAMPUS INTERVIEWING AND REGISTRATION
For the fourth consecutive year, the number of unique employers interviewing through the Center for Career Opportunities and the number of interviews conducted has increased over the previous year. In 2006-07, a total of 763 unique employers conducted 15,694 interviews, annual increases of 12% and 17% respectively. These figures reflect the most robust employer interviewing activity in the CCO since the dot com era. Students seeking internships continued to be aggressively recruited. The CCO reported a 33% annual increase in the number of internship interviews conducted.

 | SALARY SURVEY
The Center for Career Opportunities coordinates a post-graduate survey of baccalaureate and professional school graduates from the May graduation class. Indicated below are salary averages reported by May 2006 graduates.
