Community Service through Classwork

Purdue offers hundreds of courses with a hands-on, service learning component. These courses allow students to apply their education to specific needs in the community.

Examples of service-learning classes include:

  • Health & Kinesiology 319: Teaching Health and Safety in Middle and Junior High Schools
  • Communication 320: Small Group Dynamics
  • Earth and Atmospheric Sciences 191: Service Learning in Outreach
  • Engineering Projects in Community Service 101
