Exemplary Community Partner Award

Established in 2012, the Exemplary Community Partner Award recognizes local organizations that contribute to the growth of students by providing volunteer and educational opportunities. Accompanied by a $1,000 cash prize, the recipient is selected by a panel representing service-learning groups including the Boiler Volunteer Network, Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS), the College of Liberal Arts and the Office of Community Relations.

The first recipient, recognized on June 19, 2012, was the Lafayette Crisis Center. To read the announcement of the award, click here.
