Parking

General Information for Commencement Parking

Free parking will be available in the Northwestern Avenue and University Street parking garages. Please avoid parking in any marked 24-hour reserved spaces. Uniformed police will be on duty and will provide directions, as needed.

The Ross-Ade Stadium North Lot, also known as the R-Lot, will also be free parking.

The Grant Street parking garage will also be avaliable, but a charge will be assessed for parking in this facility.

The surface space in the University Street garage will be reserved for accessible parking. Golf cart shuttle services will be provided for guests if needed.

No overnight parking of RVs will be permitted.  Local camping areas include Prophetstown State Park (phone 765-567-4919), AOK Campground (phone 765-474-5030), and Wolfe's Leisure Time Campground (phone 765-589-8089).

Tailgating during commencement weekend will not be permitted.

Road Closing Notices

Due to construction work currently taking place in the North River Road/Ind. 43 area, those attending commencement should keep road closings in mind when making travel plans.

Road closures in the area include the following:

• North River Road and its intersection with Happy Hollow Road.
• John R. Wooden Drive north of Tower Drive to south of Joe Tiller Drive. This is in the Ross-Ade Stadium area.
• Cherry Lane between Edgemont Street and McCormick Avenue.
• South Russell south of Harrison to north of the railroad tracks.
