When you click the link above, you may see the following message (in Internet Explorer). Click "Yes".
Java Web Start
Coeus 4.1 is launched from the web, but you must have Java Web Start installed on your machine in order to use it.
If you do not have Java Web Start 1.4.2, you can download the setup file at
https://irbqa.itap.purdue.edu/java/j2re-1_4_2_12-windows-i586-p.exe.
You may need assistance from your departmental technical support to do this.
You MUST have version 1.4.2 installed!
Coeus will not run properly with a later version (such as version 1.5). Note that you may install
both versions of Java and Coeus will use the correct one.
Coeus Setup
Once you have installed Java Web Start, the link above will automatically launch the Coeus setup, which looks like this:
When it is finished, you will see the following warning. Click "Start" even though you are advised against doing so.
The next prompt (below) is asking whether you would like a desktop icon for Coeus 4.1. Click "Yes".
This completes the setup. The login prompt will appear next. If you clicked "Yes" at the prompt above,
an icon will now be on your desktop for Coeus 4.1. If not, you can return to this web page and click the
"download site" link above to launch Coeus.
Removing Coeus
Since Coeus is web-based, you don't actually uninstall the software. However, you can remove the application
from your Java Web Start environment. To do so, open Java Web Start (from your Start menu > Programs), select
Coeus 4.1 from the list of applications, and go to Application > Remove Application.
