The Board of Directors of The Central Association of College and University Officers and I invite you and members of your staff to participate in our premier leadership program, the 22nd Annual Collegiate Management Institute (CMI). This exceptional professional development opportunity will be held on the friendly campus of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio from May 18-23, 2008.
For those interested in pursuing a leadership career in higher education, this program is a “must.” CMI, The Program that Builds Leaders, is celebrating its 22nd anniversary this year—22 years of providing dynamic leadership development to higher education business and administrative officers from all areas on campus.
CMI is a two-year progressive program, with a third component for Institute alumni. Levels I and II will be held May 18-23, and the 4th Annual Alumni Experience (AE) will take place on May 21-22. Participants who have completed CMI Levels I and II are invited to return to this intensive two-day program that will run concurrently with CMI at Miami University.
In this rapidly changing environment, university financial administrators and their staffs must be equipped with the best tools to lead their campuses through transition, declining resources, new regulations and the myriad challenges institutions must address. We encourage you to provide your staff with the necessary leadership skills and experiences to be effective contributors in the opportunity rich and complex journey ahead of us.
Join us in May and become part of the CMI family. Our strong CMI team of experienced instructors, advisors and staff will immerse participants in various CMI activities. Past participants indicate that they value both the instructional activities and their work with the dedicated faculty and staff. CMI participants develop a new network of colleagues with whom they share information and ideas. CMI alumni report that they maintain lasting professional relationships with their CMI colleagues.
Invest in CMI and add value to both your personal and professional lives; your experience will return significant dividends to you and your institution. Please join us for CMI 2008. I look forward to seeing you this spring at Miami University.
