Nominating Members to the Teaching Academy
Membership in the Teaching Academy recognizes outstanding and scholarly teaching in the graduate, undergraduate, or engagement programs of Purdue University. Members of the Teaching Academy help promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, and share their expertise across campus with their colleagues. Each spring individuals with a passion and commitment to teaching who have been recognized as outstanding teachers by their students and peers are encouraged to be nominated by their Dean for consideration to be inducted into the Teaching Academy.
Nominations are submitted electronically to the Center for Instructional Excellence at email@example.com by the Deans of the respective Schools and Colleges for forwarding to the Teaching Academy Executive Council.

- The deadline for submission of nominations is 5:00 PM, Friday, April 18th.
- The Teaching Academy will meet on April 24th to decide on the 2014 inductees into the Teaching Academy.
- The Induction Ceremony will be held in the Fall 2014 as part of the Teaching Academy Day.
