Nominating Members to the Teaching Academy
Membership in the Teaching Academy recognizes outstanding and scholarly teaching in the graduate, undergraduate, or engagement programs of Purdue University. Members of the Teaching Academy help promote the scholarship of teaching and learning, and share their expertise across campus with their colleagues. Each spring individuals with a passion and commitment to teaching who have been recognized as outstanding teachers by their students and peers are encouraged to be nominated by their Dean for consideration to be inducted into the Teaching Academy.
Nominations are submitted electronically to firstname.lastname@example.org by the Deans of the respective Schools and Colleges for forwarding to the Teaching Academy Executive Council.
The procedure for selecting new members and a convenient template for the nomination are available via links on this page.
The deadline for nominations is 5:00 PM, Friday, April 29th, 2016.
Questions can be directed to the Teaching Academy through the chair of the Teaching Academy, Joel Ebarb, at email@example.com.
