• Develop and facilitate academic exchange programs between Purdue and Chinese universities.
• Provide cultural, language and tourism orientations and short courses to Purdue inbound and outbound students, faculty and staff from and to China.
• Participate in Purdue-China joint programs and projects, providing value-added services.
• Develop and organize seminars featuring Chinese scholars visiting Purdue and other universities and organizations in the Midwest.
• Develop and facilitate executive and professional development programs for Chinese audiences.
• Engage in joint research projects on Chinese pedagogy and international tourism.

• Provide customized training programs and group seminars on Chinese culture and business environments in China.
• Provide customized training programs and group seminars for the Chinese businesses on the American culture, business practices, and investment environments in the Midwest.
• Provide subscription-based information services on emerging business and tourism trends in China.
• Conduct contract-based research and provide individualized information services on specific economic sectors and destinations in China.
• Support community activities to promote mutual understanding between the U.S. and China.
• Provide translation/interpretive services.

Scope of Services– Administrative:

• Maintain an updated collection of literature on Chinese culture and Chinese instructional materials including audio, video and computer software.
• Maintain an updated collection of research literature on China’ tourism.
• Maintain an updated expert database of Purdue inbound and outbound visitors from and to China.
• Maintain an updated database of Purdue-China exchange programs and collaborative projects.

 Inclusive of Mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
