Public Health / Homeland Security
This hybrid program includes some on-campus instruction.
Based on the West Lafayette campus the Public Health/Homeland Security concentration is available to post-baccalaureate and post-master’s students. This unique concentration encourages students to assume leadership in creating solutions to improve the health of individuals and populations. Students partner with trans-disciplinary content experts, researchers, community leaders, and policy makers. They test care delivery models and engage in outcome evaluation, while honing advanced practice nursing skills.
Partnership opportunities include: Purdue University’s School of Nursing Nurse Managed Clinic System, Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering, Center on Aging and the Life Course, Homeland Security Institute, Military Family Research Institute, and School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
