In teacher preparation, Purdue University has been accredited by the National Commission on Accreditation of Teacher Education, the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, and the Indiana Department of Public Instruction. Detailed requirements for any of the areas, majors or minors can be obtained from the College of Liberal Arts Academic Advising Office.
