Crisis and On-Call Services at CAPS


Regular Business Hours

Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Call 911 if your crisis is life threatening.

  • Ask to speak to the Purdue Police CIT Officer.

Call CAPS at (765) 494-6995 for non-immediate life threatening crisis situations.

Inform front office staff of your situation. Front office staff will respond by:

  • directing you to come into the CAPS office
  • routing your call to the on-call therapist, who can speak with you
  • or scheduling a time for you to speak with a senior therapist (see Appointment Scheduling)

After Hours

Monday-Friday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m
Saturday-Sunday - all day/all night
