Regular Business Hours
Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Call 911 if your crisis is life threatening.
- Ask to speak to the Purdue Police CIT Officer.
Call CAPS at (765) 494-6995 for non-immediate life threatening crisis situations.
Inform front office staff of your situation. Front office staff will respond by:
- directing you to come into the CAPS office
- routing your call to the on-call therapist, who can speak with you
- or scheduling a time for you to speak with a senior therapist (see Appointment Scheduling)
After Hours
Monday-Friday 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m
Saturday-Sunday 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Non-Emergency (suicidal thoughts, no plan, no intent)
Call Urgent Care at PUSH at (765) 494-1724.

- give your telephone number
- receive a call you back from a CAPS therapist to consult over the phone
