APR 9: Alice Eagly, Observations of Groups' Social Roles Shape Their Stereotypes.Dr. Eagly will be presenting her research on the idea that group stereotypes derive from people’s observations of the social roles in which members of groups are overrepresented relative to their numbers in the general population and the implications this has on changing stereotypes of groups through social change in role occupancies.
