Student Loan Accounts (Servicing by ECSI) FAQs

(Perkins, Health Professions and Purdue Loans) 

 

  • Go to the following website: http://www.ecsi.net/prom3p

  • Click on "Get Started"

  • Enter: Social Security Number, Last Name, Date of Birth

  • Click on "Submit"

  • Follow the directions to electronically sign your loan(s).

    If you have signed a Federal Perkins or Health Professions loan, it will take approximately five business days for your promissory note to process. After signing your promissory note, the federal government requires a three day wait period in which the borrower has the right to cancel the loan. After the wait period, if you have direct deposit information on file with the Bursar's Office, it will take approximately two days for Purdue University to process the loan. Students without direct deposit on file with the Purdue University Bursar's Office will have a longer processing time.

Online Payment: Credit Card and E-check 

Go to the following website: https://www.ecsi.net

  • Click on "Students"

  • If you have an ECSI password:

    • Enter your school code: 7Y

    • Enter your PUID (omitting the first zero)

    • Enter your password

    • Your personal information will appear with the link to your account

  • If you do not have an ECSI password or if you do not remember your password:

    • Click on "Need Help Logging In?"

    • Enter: First Name, Last Name, Last 4 Digits of Account (Last 4 Digits of your SSN), DOB, and Zip code

    • Click on "Submit"

    • A pop-up box will appear with your password

    • Write down your password for 7Y

    • Click on "Login Page"

    • Enter your school code: 7Y

    • Enter your PUID (omitting the first zero)

    • Enter your password

    • Your personal information will appear with a link to your account

Your school code must be "7Y" to pay your emergency loan. If the password and account information you receive from ECSI is not for school code "7Y", please contact ECSI or Purdue University Collections listed below.

  • Your payment may take 24-28 hours to process and update your loan record.

The purpose of the Exit Interview is to inform you of your rights and responsibilities based on the financial aid you accepted from Purdue University and should take 10-15 minutes to complete on-line. You may wish to print out copies of loan information for your records.

The Exit Interview is required by Purdue University and the Department of Education. Below you will find the directions for completing the Exit Interview obligation on-line.

Purdue's loan service provider is Educational Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI). Log on to www.ecsi.net and click on the “Student” screen. Enter your school code (“3P”), your account number (your Purdue ID dropping the first zero), and your password. (A password should have been e-mailed to you from webmaster@ecsi.net.)

If you do not have the password you need to log on to ECSI, you may click on the “need help logging in” box.

  • Enter: First Name, Last Name, Last 4 Digits of Account (Last 4 Digits of your SSN), DOB, and Zip code

  • Click on "Submit"

  • A pop-up box will appear with your password

  • Write down your password for 3P

  • Click on "Login Page"

  • Enter your school code: 3P

  • Enter your PUID (omitting the first zero)

  • Enter your password

If you need further assistance with the login procedure, please contact ECSI directly at (888) 549-3274. After electronically signing off on your Exit Interview it will take approximately two business days for your account hold to clear. If you need the hold released sooner, please contact the Purdue University Collections Office at 765-494-5350 for assistance.

Once you have received a password, you may return to the www.ecsi.net login screen and sign in with your school code ("3P"), account number (your Purdue ID omitting the first zero), and password. You will be directed to your home page. Follow instructions to make payment on-line.

If you are unable to receive a password, please contact ECSI directly at (888) 549-3274. You may also contact ECSI to set up payment arrangements.
