Pre-Award Services is a value added service provided to Purdue faculty and staff that is dedicated to supporting the creation of quality proposals and contracts that are both technically and administratively sound. The goal of submitting the highest quality proposal is accomplished with strong collaboration and teamwork.
Pre-Award Services at Purdue is dedicated to supporting the proposal development activities of the University community through value-added, high-quality service and professional partnerships with Principal Investigators in order to facilitate world-changing research.
We will accomplish this mission by educating, communicating, and innovatively aiding the research community while ensuring compliance with University, state, and federal policies and regulations.
Recommended Timeline for Proposal Preparation
In order to continue to provide the best customer service possible, and to also ensure a thorough institutional review ultimately allowing for a successful on-time submission, the following general timeline is provided for faculty use. Please note this is NOT an all-encompassing timeline, and your proposal specialist will provide more specific guidance/timelines if working on a complex proposal.
