CoeusLite

Navigating the CoeusLite application is the same and moving around in most websites. Moving around in this application must be a forward progression where only links are utilized to transition between pages when moving forwards or backwards.

noteNOTE: It is important that the "Back" button or arrow of the web browser is not used when navigating CoeusLite. Using the "Back" will likely cause an error where the User will be required to refresh the screen.


bullet Primary Navigation

Every page of the CoeusLite application will have the primary navigational menu at the top of the screen. These links will direct you to the main modules accessible through CoeusLite.

noteNOTE: At this time, only the "My Proposals" and "Inbox" modules will be utilized at Purdue. However, the IRB and COI modules are slated for future use and are currently in development.


  • My Proposals - This module will direct the User to the Proposal section of the application. All proposal tasks will be completed in this module for Pre-Award aspects only. It is still necessary to consult with the Investigator's Business Office or SPS for most post-submission questions.
  • Inbox - The CoeusLite Inbox allows for Academic Approvers to monitor and manage the auto-generated emails and tasks related to the electronic Routing and Approval function available in Coeus.

bullet My Proposal Navigation

After clicking on the "My Proposals" link the User will be directed to the proposal module. Once there, additional links will become available for further proposal navigation.

All My Proposals: Selecting this link will produce a list of all proposals that the Investigator is named on regardless of proposal record status.

Proposals in Progress: Selecting this link will produce a list of all proposals that the Investigator is named on where the record is still in "In Progress" status and available for development.

Create New Proposal: Selecting this link will initiate the process of creating a new proposal record.

Proposal Search: Opens the standard Proposal Search window

Grants.gov Opportunity Search: Opens a page where an Investigator may search the Grants.gov opportunity lists.

List of Proposals: This will provide a list of all proposals that fit the specified criteria (Search Criteria, All Proposals, In Progress). Selecting any of the listed proposal records will open that record in display.
