System Inquiry Course Open for Registration - 05/20/10

Registration has opened for “HRPA 152 – System Inquiry.” The class will meet 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, June 10 in the Business Services Training Room in Freehafer.

Cindy Nelson of Shared Services Center is the instructor. She will show course participants how to look up employee and position data, how to complete HR forms and how to answer questions for staff in decentralized areas. She will teach participants how to search for employees, positions and organizational unit data using various transaction codes. They will learn new data elements in the OnePurdue system related to employees and their positions, as well as quick tips and techniques for streamlined system navigation.

The class can accommodate up to 12 attendees and is a prerequisite to “HRTM 221- Time Administration.”

Staff who wish to attend “HRPA 152” must preregister through PREMIS with their career account and password. After logging in, select the links for “Business Systems” and “Basic Skills.” Choose the “HRPA 152” link to complete the registration process.

Participants should have completed the prerequisite, “SAPNAV 115 – SAP GUI Navigation,” a self-guided, online course accessible by logging in to PREMIS and clicking “Business Systems” and “Basic Skills.” “SAPNAV 115” will be available to registrants in Blackboard via the “Non-academic Campus” log-in portal 24 hours later.
