Summer PAR Training Scheduled for September - 08/17/10
Training for the summer 2010-11 Personal Activity Report (PAR) is scheduled for mid-September, offering participants two classes from which to choose.
“BPARS 200 – Personal Activity Report” will be given 2:30-5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept 15, and 2:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16. Both will meet in Room 1142 of Lawson Computer Science Building, 305 N. University St. The Sept. 16 presentation will be live-streamed via AdobeConnect. Participants need attend only one session.
The first half-hour of PAR training will be geared for staff who have attended a previous PAR training, and the focus will be important reminders and a brief summary. After a short break, the training will be more detailed for attendees who want a refresher and for those new to PARs.
Staff can enroll through PREMIS with their Purdue career account and password. Once logged in, click “Business Systems,” and then “Accounting.” Participants can choose which “BPARS 200 – Personal Activity Report” session they want to attend, but there is no separate registration for the half-hour sessions.
Attendees who plan to view the Sept. 16 presentation remotely via AdobeConnect also must register. Instructions for connecting to AdobeConnect will be sent to attendees prior to the class.
PARs will be distributed during the training, and business managers will be asked to sign for the PARs for their area. Participants who attend the Sept. 16 class via AdobeConnect must have a business manager come to the training in Lawson 1142 to collect their PARs.
