‘SRM for Requisitioners’ Available for Registration - 09/2/10

The September offering of “SRM 250 – SRM for Requisitioners” has opened for registration.

“SRM 250” will be presented in two parts, 1:30-5 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28 and 1:30-5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 30. Classes will meet in the Business Services Training Room on the first floor of Freehafer. Attendance at both sessions is required. Angie Paxton is the instructor.

The course will provide hands-on instruction for creating specific types of shopping carts, which include: University Stores, Printing Services and Describe Requirement. It also will include BOILERMART, the new portal to showcase suppliers and other University suppliers’ catalogs. BOILERMART is the replacement for ePlus.

Participants are asked to bring their own copies of the course materials, downloadable on the Supply Chain Purchasing (SRM) page of the Business Services Training and Communications (BSTC) website.

To ensure their space in the class, attendees must self-register through PREMIS with their Purdue career account and password. To access “SRM 250 – SRM for Requisitioners” after logging in, click “Business Systems,” then “Supply Chain Purchasing (SRM).”

Participants must have completed the prerequisites, “SRMAP 101 – Buying Goods and Services at Purdue University” and “SRM 201 – Create a Shopping Cart.” Registration for both of these self-directed, online Blackboard courses also is provided through PREMIS.
